Located west of Lakota, this girder bridge crosses 140th Avenue south of Iowa Highway 9.
Built in 1905, the bridge features a single deck girder span, on concrete abutments. This is a standardized design for the railroad, commonly seen to cross roads and small streams.
Currently, the bridge is used by Union Pacific. It has had little alterations since the original construction.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, with minor deterioration. Another girder bridge once existed immediately west of this bridge, but was filled in during the 1980s.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
